When to Go

May-Oct​​​

Best overall:  Dry season ideal for Machu Picchu and trekking. Includes major cultural festivals such as Inti Raymi and Fiestas Patrias.

Nov-Apr​​​​​

Rainy season in the Andes and Amazon but still great. Expect greener landscapes, fewer crowds, and warmer temperatures. Includes vibrant celebrations like Carnaval and Semana Santa.

Dec-Apr

Best beach season for Lima, Paracas and northern beaches with warm, sunny weather and ideal conditions for beach escapes.
